After a thorough search of what is available, I think this is the best for the money. It is well built and will handle what ever job you have for it. The only complaint is the instructions are poorly written. The pictures on the box give you better information about instillation than the document. Take your time you will not be disappointed.

I had to use the instructions from a competitor’s to figure out the installation.
It is a sturdy vise but the quick release mechanism is poor. I would have bought a Eclipse or a Veritas.

First thing to do after opening the box is to lubricate two steel guide rods – I did not, the next day there was a rust stain from my fingerprint – maybe living in Florida ha something to do with this….
