After reading a lot of reviews, seeing the videos on YouTube, and even a couple TikToks I decided to go with the Lifetime 55 quart High Performance cooler. Bear resistant, 7 day ice retention, and MADE IN THE USA! All at a price that’s less than half of the popular mainstream brand. What more could you ask for? And yes it does have a built in bottle opener!

This is well worth the price. I love this so much I even bought the 115 Qt. I have had no issues retaining ice for 5+ days. You definitely have to prepare to achieve this but this cooler can hold ice for more than 5 days in the summer time. I make sure the drinks/food/ water bottles etc are already chilled/cold. I even Freeze my meats to help aid in the process. Very important, ALWAYS KEEP THE LID CLOSED. Also don’t latch the lid when storing to prevent the latch’s from stretching. If your drinks or anything else is room temp or warmer this will defintely affect how quick the ice will melt (obviously). I am a fan of “LifeTime” products. FYI I do NOT work for LifeTime or am sponsored in anyway. Just really love what they do. Quality product without having to pay the Quality Price.

Got this for a gift two years ago and now it doesn’t hold ice for a day. The lid looks warped and can’t do a warranty claim and I forgot to register it. Apparently the info is on a sticker on the bottom of the cooler where all this info is at. Who puts a sticker on the bottoms of a cooler as they get slid around and a sticker is bound to come off. I was told a sticker is used because it’s cheaper than engraving the I for into the bottom of the cooler.
